Mumbai Indians lift the cup first time in IPL Season 6.It was Mumbai Indians night at Eden Garden,Kolkata as they won the toss and elected to bat first against Chennai Super Kings. Mumbai Indians lost early wickets and ended up with a fighting total of 148 at the end of 20 overs. Pollard and Rayudu batted well in the middle order to add enough runs to the score board.

Malinga was given first over in the final and he proved that he can pick up early wickets to put Chennai Super Kings in the back foot. Malinga picket 2 wickets in the first over of Hussey and Suresh Raina. Mumbai Indians fielding was brilliant in the final game supporting their bowlers to defend a moderate score.
Sachin Tendulkar Retirement from IPL
Sachin Tendulakar made his decision to retire from Indian Premier League with this victory. Sachin said that he made up his decison to quit IPL even before the season started. Sachin will continue to play for India in the test matches.
